Mineral commodity reports
Reports on most New Zealand minerals have been written for the New Zealand Mining magazine (published by Crown Minerals between 1990 and June 2002).
The reports discuss the origin, properties, formation, uses, world production, prices, consumption and trends of specific commodities followed by a review of New Zealand's resources, production and future potential for the commodity.

Coal Association of New Zealand
The Coal Association of New Zealand represents the interests of over 95 percent of New Zealand's coal producers and industry users. As well as a range of research papers and presentations, the Coal Association of New Zealand produces a number of regular publications.

The New Zealand Minerals Industry Association (NZMIA)
The NZMIA is an incorporated society whose main activity is to support the explorers and producers if New Zealand’s mineral resources. They have a range of fact sheets covering topics such as Ironsand, Aggregates, Coal and Industrial Minerals. The site also includes extensive links to other sites of interest.
