2010 New Zealand Petroleum Conference call for papers
11 February 2010 - The call for papers for the 2010 New Zealand Petroleum Conference has has now begun, with abstracts due 29 March 2010.
The theme for this conference "Transformation" will allow government and industry speakers to provide their insight into the potential impact oil and gas could have to transform New Zealand’s economy.
Sought after topics for the 2010 conference include (but are not limited to):
- Global perspective - New Zealand’s place in the petroleum world;
- Sector Participation/Investment - What should New Zealand do to maximise participation/investment;
- New Frontiers - Unlocking the potential of Reinga, Northland, Raukumara;
- New Zealand Petroleum Basins – Advances in our geological understanding;
- Exploration and development opportunities;
- Technology - Enabling greater investigation into more challenging environments;
