Introducing Kevin Rolens
8 September 2010 - It is great to announce the appointment of Kevin Rolens as the new Petroleum Manager for Crown Minerals. Kevin starts in his new role on 14 September.
Kevin brings a wealth of international experience to the Crown Minerals Group which will be a huge strength as New Zealand looks to increase the contribution of our petroleum resource to economic growth and deepen the range of players operating in our basins.
Kevin is keen to get around the industry and make himself known as quickly as possible and will be attending the New Zealand Petroleum Conference from 19-22 September.
Prior to joining MED, Kevin held senior posts for British Gas Group, Anadarko and Amoco all of which were in the upstream commercial sector. He is a 30 year veteran in the upstream petroleum business and has worked in mostly developing countries including China, Indonesia, India, Eastern Europe and Nigeria.
Kevin brings many years of technical expertise in contracts, negotiations, economics, and business development. Kevin holds an MBA from Oklahoma State University and is a charter member of Association of International Petroleum Negotiators.
