Queen Elizabeth II Memorial Day Holiday – effects on permit holders

Publish date: 23 September 2022

On Monday 26 September a stand-alone public holiday, Queen Elizabeth II Memorial Day, will be held to commemorate the late Monarch.

Queen Elizabeth II Memorial Day is to be treated as a non-working day.

To accommodate this, we have adjusted the due dates for any permit holders who may be affected.

  • Permit holders who had any Work Programme Inspections, Data Submissions, Report Inspections or Relinquishment Reports that were due on Monday 26 September will now be due on Tuesday 27 September.
  • Permit holders that have any upcoming requirements due in a certain amount of business days do not have to count the upcoming Monday as a business day.

Normal business hours will resume on Tuesday 27 September. We can be contacted at nzpam@mbie.govt.nz
