Submit your minerals 2025 annual summary report by 31 March
Permit holders have until Tuesday, 31 March 2026 to submit their 2025 annual summary reports for minerals permits.
Every permit holder is required to provide an annual summary report, which provides information about how the activities are tracking against the permit’s work programme. They also give us valuable information about New Zealand’s mineral resources.
Annual summary reports for 2025 minerals permits are due by Tuesday, 31 March 2026.
How to submit your annual summary report
We encourage permit holders to submit their annual summary report through the Online permitting system.
Submitting an annual summary report is a condition of holding a permit and is required for all permits that were active in the previous calendar year, even if no activity took place. This requirement also applies to permits that have expired, been surrendered or revoked during 2025.
Failure to submit an annual summary report on time, could result in compliance action.
